I am retiring this account, as far as uploading new work anyway. I will still be active to manage my group and to watch/fav/comment other people's artwork but will probably not be submitting anymore art to my gallery. I will keep up most of my deviations because I know there are people who like them and probably still want to check back now and then. I am so busy with work and college that I really don't have time to create drawings to upload (I still sketch in my sketchbook, but nothing finished or polished). I would also like some time to work on improving my art and trying new things without the stress of uploading and managing a personal art gallery. If I'm not busy studying, I will visit conceptart.org where I feel I will get the best advice and opportunity to improve myself as an artist.  

When I feel like my skills are at a point where I want to show my work and share it with the public again, I will probably create a new account. In that case, I will send a message to my watchers/friends to let them know so they can see the new gallery.

I want to thank everyone who has ever commented/faved/watched my work and for giving me so much support over the years. You have truly been a blessing.

A lot has been going on in real life and I have returned to college this year, so I've been busy and forgot about this page! So sorry for those who have been waiting for me to upload new drawings, but with school I have spent most of my time studying and reading. However, I did get my website up over the summer, you can see it at www.jjsketch.com

Someday I would like to start working on my two comics and upload them to my website- Naked and my magnus opus, Potential.  

Thank you to all who still view this page. I appreciate all who love my artwork and want to see more. I am working on my Liberal Arts degree and then want to attend an art school to get an art degree and work in animation. My dream college is CalArts, but we'll see.

Awhile ago I found art instruction books that were written and illustrated by a great illustrator, Andrew Loomis.  For some odd reason his books have been allowed to go out of print, so the only way to get them is to either pay some serious cash for them on ebay or if you're poor like me, download copies of them online.
